Our Discover Your Collateral Beauty experience advanced the future of personalized interactive environments and allowed viewers to take a unique look at the shared moments that made up their lives.
Partnering with A-OK Collective, Virtu Labs created a powerful interactive installation that allowed Warner Bros. to personally connect with their audience as it guided guests through the themes of the film Collateral Beauty at the Americana at Brand outdoor mall in Glendale, California.
We crafted cutting-edge technologies that led viewers through an immersive animated collage of their shared moments on Instagram and Facebook concluding in an e-mailed digital version to share on social media generating buzz and boosting local sales at the box office.
In collaboration with SET Creative, Helios Interactive, and Hybrid Design, Nike popup store in San Francisco was covered with a continues LED wall. We created a high performance video playback system with the ability to schedule, select and update content remotely. This enabled Nike to host their live event of releasing the Nike Air Foamposite One at a unique pop-up boutique retail experience.

WAVE is an interactive installation for Digital Design Days - OFFF 2016 in Milan. We collaborated with Filippo Spiezia to create a living and responsive environment piece for the festival's audience. The projection mapped curved wall was the hub of the festival, showcasing the speakers, live tweets from audience, and the upcoming events.
SkyLights is an interactive laser installation designed for Digital Design Days + OFFF Milano from a collaboration between NaiveLaser and VirtuLabs. SKY-Lights is an ephemeral light sculpture, a physical experience that uses the atmosphere as instrument to play with light and perception. Using custom LASER light technology, the sculpture works as a responsive environment that understands the crowd and reacts to their movements, sounds and actions. The installation will also create the opportunity for the audience to light paint the ceiling of the festival simply by being in the space. The interaction between the light sculpture and the audience illustrates how design decisions are an ongoing conversation between the designer, the audience and the medium. As a company focused on interactive storytelling, VirtuLabs’ goal is to engage the Digital Design Days + OFFF Milano audience with the art surrounding them.
